Rest and Story - This Saturday
Wild Women Monthly Series
Dear Rest Friends,
This Saturday, Sept. 19, is our second workshop in the Wild Woman Series. Join us! One Saturday each month we meet via Zoom to rest deeply, revive our spirits, and delve into the wisdom of enduring archetypal stories. New members are welcome to join at any time. On this coming Saturday, we will be exploring the Bluebeard story and the themes of spotting and disabling the intruder — the inner critic who takes away our vitality and agency.
We start with a centering practice, then listen to the story and move into deep rest with yoga nidra. There is time to journal, draw, and follow prompts to cull your insights. After a short break we go back into a second yoga nidra rest.
This series is for you if you're looking to:
Get deep rest to reset, refresh and fortify yourself
De-stress the body and the mind and call forth your own regenerative force
Re-energize and regain your vitality
Fill the longing for adventure in your next chapter of life
Reconnect with your wild and wise woman—the one who has a lot of the answers you seek
Build up your resiliency muscles
Awaken your creativity
Get clarity and reignite intuition
Reimagine yourself
Support and community
These are interesting and difficult times…we need vitality, creativity and community more than ever. The tired, worn-out you needs a respite. Rest is the foundational practice and an effective remedy to combat stress.
This is why I have combined a rest practice with archetypal stories that offer wisdom for the journey ahead. A wild and well-rested woman is a force of nature—she honors her needs, harnesses her talents, shares her gifts, and embodies ancient wisdom. In this series you will cultivate your very own medicine. I am honored to be your guide.
